COVID has affected all of us in one way or another, or even in several ways. Twenty twenty has been a challenging year, to say the least. Twenty twenty-one seems to be off to a promising start back to some sort of new normal.
I found myself over the last year lacking motivation to edit my memoir after receiving great beta reader feedback. I attempted to force myself to continue writing and posting new articles. You’ll notice there hasn’t been anything new posted in quite a while.
I remembered I need to be gentle with myself and ensure I engage in self-care. I found myself doing things easy to enjoy while socially isolating such as walking the park on a nice day, fixing a healthy meal, playing in makeup, reading, and doing videos on things near and dear to my heart and life.
I’ve taken to doing more videos and less writing. I have years of articles on this website for which searches can be done by Category, Month, or Title. So, I’ve been reposting links of articles to my FB page (https://www.facebook.com/DionLorah.Writer.Author.Blogger/?ref=pages_you_manage) and Twitter account (https://twitter.com/Dion_Lorah).
I compartmentalized my YouTube content and now have three separate channels, which are listed below:
Dion Lorah, PhD (Mental Health Awareness and Dating and Relationships) – https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCK6IaZ4TgPByIK6j91UWGJA. I also post these videos on My Twitter account (https://twitter.com/Dion_Lorah).
Dion Luvs Makeup (makeup and skincare) – https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaiOktrp18wlhKWv3mefl8Q
MissDion on Fet (BDSM related) – https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChmQ7ARj1aLv-6UoMeVzWcA. I also post these videos on My BDSM Lifestyle Twitter account (https://twitter.com/_missdionl)
As you can see, though I haven’t been posting new articles on this site, I have been busy. I hope one of my YouTube channels interests you enough for you to subscribe.
I’m open to suggestions and questions on what types of videos you’d like to see on any or all of those channels. Comments and questions, as with my blog articles, are always welcome on my videos.
I appreciate you bearing with me and accompanying me on the new work I’m doing.
I’ll be back to editing my memoir when my mind allows. I’m determined to have it published one day because I believe it will help others overcome their past, and present, struggles.
I’d love to hear how COVID has affected you and what you’ve done to cope, as well as move forward with your life even if you’ve taken a new course while engaging in self-care. I look forward to hearing from you on here or on my other platforms.
Stay safe and be well.
Don’t forget to browse around while you’re here. Thanks in advance.
