About Me

Hmmmm. About Me?

The condensed version of my life is of my dropping out of high school and obtaining a General Education Diploma (1987); going to Job Corps in Upstate New York (1989); joining the Army National Guard (1990-1998);  attending Community College in New Jersey (1991-1992); transferring to a four-year university in New York (1992-1995: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Minor in Criminal Justice); moving back to New Jersey (1996); receiving Christ’s gift of salvation (1996); being ordained a Minister to Teach (1998); enlisting active duty in the Army and moved to Texas (2000-2003); earned a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice (2003); moved to Delaware (2003); Doctoral studies (2003-2010: PhD in Psychology, specializing in Addictions); became involved in the kink community (2013); retired from the clinical field (2013); officially began writing as a career (2014).

More about my writing: I’ve written poetry and journaled from an early age. Moving around and couch surfing in my teenage years resulted in losing a majority of it. The work that remains from that time period has been typed into a book, “The Mind’s Journey: A Poetry Collection.” I’ve obtained copyright for that collection and once editing and revising are complete, it’ll be published. I love writing so much that I hate editing and revising, so that part of the process always takes me a long time.

I’ve always been a person to say what I mean and to mean what I say. I can be sarcastic, at times, not that it takes away from the meaning of my words. I don’t shy away from topics that some won’t even whisper about, in the confines of the darkest shadows, with their closest friends. I look at ordinary situations and see extraordinary stories, hence, the ‘real or imagined’ phrase in the header. Situations and stories, that again, most will not dare to even admit float through their brain matter from one ear to the other. I also write about the softer side of life, the warm and fuzzy, so don’t fret :-).

What pray tell may those things be?

You’ll read about it on the “Imagine This…” Page.

I use a WordPress theme and GoDaddy as the host. Not expensive. Customer service at GoDaddy are extremely helpful and can walk you through what you’ll need to do.
    Good luck!

Greetings! I know this is kinda off topic however I’d figured I’d ask.
Would you be interested in trading links or maybe guest authoring a blog post
or vice-versa? My website discusses a lot of the same topics as yours
and I believe we could greatly benefit from each other.
If you happen to be interested feel free to shoot me an e-mail.

I look forward to hearing from you! Superb blog by the way!

When you go to my site, there’s a box in the right sidebar that you can enter your email address into.

If you’re on a page reading an article, a pop-up box will appear when you scroll to the bottom of the page. It’ll give you options on where to follow (email, FB, or Twitter).

      Thank you.

Great blog! Can be your theme personalized or have you download it from somewhere?

A theme like yours by incorporating simple adjustements
would actually make my blog jump out. Please inform me the place you got your design. Cheers

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea
shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely
off topic but I had to tell someone!

Thank you for visiting and sharing that story. It was funny, though I do hope your daughter is okay and eventually wants to go back to the beach.
      Welcome back anytime.
