I was driving home one night and gazed up at the sky while driving over a bridge.
It was a clear night and patches of clouds could be seen across the sky. Between the clouds all that could be seen was clear dark blue. I thought about what was on the other side of those clouds, what was beyond the clear dark blue. I thought of the scripture Ezekiel 10:1 (Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.).
It always seems when looking up at clouds, that although they look fluffy like cotton, they also look flat on the bottom as if looking up at them floating on water. If there is a flatness at the bottom of the clouds, what is above it? Were the clouds floating on a sea of glass (Revelation 4:6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.)?
I wondered if Heaven’s throne room is the Earth’s atmospheric ceiling.
