My MsC Experience

MsC is the Master/slave Conference. It’s held once a year and this year was my first time attending.

The host hotel was at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore, MD. Classes, presentations, and incentives revolved around relationships, which is the heart of any M/s (Master/slave) dynamic. I enjoyed learning from others’ experiences, meeting new people, seeing familiar faces, attending the Formal Leather Banquet, and shopping in the Fetish Market. Due to a situation at home, and my being an hour away from home, I left the Conference a day and a half early.

I attended and participated in the following classes and workshops: Finding Your Voice: All Day Speaker Training for the M/s Community; Orientation for First-Timers; Singles Gathering; Contracts and Written Agreements in M/s Relationships; Long Term Relationships; and, Masters Only (A Discussion Group).

What I purchased from the Fetish Market:

 All purchases

Top to Bottom: Red Looped Suede Flogger, Cane/Birch (Alternative Sites, Ltd in California – altsitesltd.com). Small Flogger – cowhide or bullhide (Leather Naturally Manor Gear in Ohio). Triple Leather Slapper and Rubber Loop (Barking Leather in Georgia – www.barkingleather.com). Leather Thumper (Alternative Sites, Ltd). Left corner: Our Lives, Our History book from MTTA.

I also purchased my first corset dress. The company is called Steel Bones. I tried it on again at home with different footwear to see which pair looked best with it.

The atmosphere of the Conference was one of acceptance and openness. Everyone I encountered was friendly, conversational, and genuinely wanted to know more about each other. I’ve learned quite a while ago that the M/s Community is really more of a family, one I’m proud to be a part of.
